Roseville, CA….. It was a great day for the USAC Western States Sprint Series season opener. The stands were full, the weather was beautiful and the racers were eager to hit the track. Just as with everything else around us, the USAC Western States Sprint Series has also been impacted by the economy; despite a low car count the racing was great.
Shauna and her team worked hard preparing the car over the offseason and their hard work paid off. Shauna was pretty happy with her car all day and the team made very few changes to the car. Shauna had a great qualifying lap which placed her 3rd quick, she finished 3rd in her heat and ended up with a 5th place in the main event.
